This Privacy Notice describes information submitted through Wine Country Classic Boats (WCCB) forms.
Who may use the forms
As a WCCB eligibility rule, the forms are for people age 18 or older. Do not submit information about a child.
Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to submit for contact requests, membership, and event registration. This may include names, postal addresses, dates, email addresses, phone numbers, registration details, and the content of a message.
How we use and share information
We use submitted information to respond, administer membership, and process event registration. We share it only with WCCB volunteers and the email recipient named on the relevant form or page, and only as needed to respond or perform the requested activity. We do not describe WCCB as selling submitted information.
Security, operations, retention, and disclosure
WCCB uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information it maintains, including risk review, monitoring, service-provider safeguards, and reasonable disposal practices. No transmission or storage method is guaranteed secure. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the requested activity, membership and event records, operational records, security, dispute handling, and legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when reasonably practicable. We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal process, or other legal obligations. If WCCB determines that applicable law requires notice of a qualifying security incident, WCCB will provide the required notices within the applicable timeframe.
Third-party ACBS services
If you follow a link to the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS), ACBS operates its own site and handles information under its own notices and practices. WCCB does not control that third-party service.
Changes and contact
WCCB may revise this notice. The version presented with a form applies to that submission. Contact WCCB through the contact page with a privacy question, retention request, or correction request.
